    Get to Know Me

    I grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I come from a family of educators and feel that I continue this tradition of teaching by helping to educate families as well as the next generation of clinicians. As a child, I was always curious. I was also an asthmatic, and so I saw my pediatrician often. I was always impressed by how kind and how knowledgeable my pediatrician was, and by how much she helped my family and me. My experiences with my pediatrician were a big part of why I decided to go into medicine, so I could help others like she helped me.

    Why I Treat Children

    I find working with children refreshing. They are full of energy, honest, resilient, and fun. They keep you on your toes — you never know what they might say or do. I enjoy helping to make children happy and healthy.
